Adult Integrative Psychotherapy

For more information and your questions:

Connecting is what we humans are all about. But we all so often fail to connect with kindness, love, and empathy, causing pain and dysfunction. Living with psychological pain and dysfunctional relationships is to live with completely unnecessary suffering.

As a psychotherapist, I employ an integrative, interpersonal approach which I combine with very active approaches based on principles found in CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy). I organize all approaches around my own Formica/Fairfield Problem-Solving Method.

I combine deep empathy with a willingness to discover and apply whatever works to help move each unique patient forward from their initial pain, anxiety, confusion and misery to problem-solving and problem-resolution. I work intensively with challenged parents and with patients who experience anxiety, depression and problems of relationships and family living. I also have extensive experience in working with professionals who work in the financial, medical and psychological fields.
